Susanna Reid DESTROYS Jeremy Corbyn and Labour for living in ‘FANTASY WORLD’

ITV Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid has DESTROYED Jeremy Corbyn and the rest of Labour for living in a ‘FANTASY WORLD’ after it emerged that the Tories are currently enjoying extending their lead over Labour by 24 points.

Unfortunately for Labour MP Chuka Umunna, he was caught in the firing line after agreeing to appear on the show with Tory rival MP Iain Duncan-Smith.

After Reid goaded Umunna by saying that the current headlines won’t make ‘great reading’ for party leader Jeremy Corbyn, the MP replied in a way that frankly just wound the presenter up.

He said: “This will be tough for Labour as it’s an usual election process,” admitted Umunna, 38. “Firstly there’s leaving the European Union, second thing is looking out for public services; the NHS is in crisis and is being starved of funds, and the economy has got to change.

“We’re the fifth most wealthiest country in the world.”

It was clear that Reid wasn’t convinced by this reply in the slightest.

She said: “How will you generate ‘decent’ jobs for all?” she squirmed. “How do you promise that? Are you going to promise zero unemployment? That’s a fantasy land – it’s impossible.”

Umunna fired back: “I’m not gong to deny it, we’ve got a low rate of unemployment, but there 700,000 vacancies.”

Reid interrupted: “So you’re going to force people to take those jobs?”

It was clear at this point that the whole argument was going round in circles, but it did demonstrate one clear point.

It showed the public that Labour candidates are indeed living in some sort of ‘fantasy,’ headed up by the greatest fantasist of them all!

How on earth can hundreds of thousands of jobs be created from nothing?

When you then add the fact that the vast majority of these candidates don’t even want this ‘chief fantasist’ in charge as it will scupper their own chances, you have to wonder why Labour are even bothering.

Believe us when we say that Theresa May knew EXACTLY what she was doing when she called this election.

May’s election promises: END free movement, LEAVE single market, STOP EU judges’ meddling

According to a number of reports in the media, the finishing touches are being applied to the Conservative manifesto for the June 2017 general election, and Theresa May is promising to end free movement into Britain, leave the single market, and put a stop to EU judges meddling in British affairs.

This will be music to the ears of die-hard Brexiteers like us, and we can imagine that these promises will strike a chord with everyone else in Britain who just wants Brexit to be over and done with.

By Brexit, we naturally mean the HARD BREXIT that we were fully aware we were voting for in June 2016.

Not of course the soft, ‘watered down’ or even non-existent Brexits that are being proposed by Tim Farron, Tony Blair or anyone else for that matter.

A Tory source told the Mail: “All Conservative candidates will have to stand on the manifesto – it will lock them in and provide a much stronger mandate. It will also send a message to the House of Lords that they cannot get in the way.”

This is an encouraging sign at such an early stage as it appears to demonstrate that the concept of ‘unity’ will be at the very heart of the Tory campaign strategy – remember that Mrs May told the nation that the whole purpose of this election would be to create a government that is united in a common cause.

The Prime Minister added: “When people voted to leave the EU they did vote to end free movement as it has been – they voted for us to have control of our laws so we are not subject to the ECJ.”

“We will be ensuring we negotiate the best possible deal with the EU – a deal which will cover the various issues that people are really concerned about in terms of ensuring control of our borders, control of our laws, control of our money.”

At the very least, we now know that a Tory victory will ensure that Brexit means Brexit, and not the dreaded hybrid/mongrel Brexit that is being floated by those who are prepared to ignore the will of the people.

A senior US government official has confirmed that Donald Trump is ready for a US-UK trade deal as soon as possible.

This flies in the face of Brussels Eurocrats and especially Angela Merkel who have been insisting that no UK trade talks can take place until the ridiculous £50 BILLION Brexit bill is paid and talks have concluded with other EU nations.

Donald Trump has always admired the UK for voting for Brexit, and this is a MASSIVE vote of confidence for Brexit Britain as a global trading superpower of the future.

The fantastic news was confirmed by Paul Ryan, a senior official in Trump’s Republican administration.

He is currently visiting the UK.

In a speech for the Policy Exchange think-tank, Mr Ryan said: “Now that Article 50 has been invoked, the UK and the EU will determine the best path forward over the course of these negotiations.

“We want the parties to come together and strike a lasting agreement, a strong UK-EU relationship is in all of our best interests.

“In that same vein, the United States will work closely with our EU friends and chart a path forward on TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) negotiations.

“At the same time we are committed to working with President Trump and your Government to achieve a bilateral trade agreement between the United States and Britain.

“This is one of the bipartisan messages I bring with me, I bring Democrats and Republicans here to this room to this country today, to say that the United States stands ready to forge a new trade agreement with Great Britain as soon as possible so that we may further tap into the great potential between our two people.”

We have highlighted the last paragraph as it is such a massive point to make, and we hope that Juncker, Tusk, Merkel and the rest of that shower are reading it!

They want to stall and frustrate any sort of Brexit trade talks with all sorts of underhand tactics, and to make matters worse they also insist that we cannot start talking to anyone else until they are ready.

On the other hand, the leader of the free world Mr Trump sends his messenger to London and sticks two fingers up to Brussels and Strasbourg.

Trump is ready to get down to business NOW, and we couldn’t be happier!

BRAVO MARINE! Brussels rage as French president hopeful REFUSES to stand next to EU flag

French presidential hopeful Marine Le Pen has angered EU chiefs by REFUSING to stand next to the flag of the European Union.

She made the defiant gesture during a TV interview about the upcoming French presidential election.

It’s hard to know what to say, other than BLOODY WELL DONE Marine!

She said: “I want to be the president of the French Republic, I don’t want to be European Commission president.

“I believe the European Union has done a lot of harm to our country.”

To add to the fun, Ms Le Pen’s deputy Florian Philippot responded furiously on Twitter.

He wrote: “You’ll see, we’ll soon stuff your oligarchic rag in the cupboard.”

Mr Philippot then shared an emoji of the French flag, adding: “Long live the flag.”

How sweet it is to hear someone refer to the EU flag as an ‘oligarchic rag!’

An EU representative in France has responded angrily, saying that the flag is a ‘symbol of unity.’

That may be true, but it is a so-called unity that is enforced with back-door treaties, restrictive governance and a total destruction of national sovereignty.

This is why we are wishing Marine Le Pen ‘bonne chance’ ahead of Sunday’s first round.

We hope that the good and honest people of France are inspired by what we achieved with our own Brexit vote and feel empowered to choose someone who is prepared to stand up to Brussels.

Just to see her make it through to the second round will be enough of a message to the Eurocrats.

It will say that a significant proportion of the French electorate are just as fed up with the EU as we are.

OOPS! Nicola Sturgeon just handed the election to Theresa May on a plate

One of the reasons why the Tories won the last general election in 2015 was Nicola Sturgeon saying that she would be prepared to go into an alliance with Labour to ‘keep the Tories oot’ – people then proceeded to abandon Labour by the bucketload.

Fast-forward to 2017 and the Snap General Election, and Sturgeon has pretty much said the same thing!

The SNP leader, speaking on a visit to her MPs outside Parliament, said: “If the Parliamentary arithmetic lends itself to the SNP being part of a progressive alliance to keep the Tories out of Government then the SNP will seek to be part of that as we said in 2015.

“Now we are not sure that there are many people who think Labour will be in a position on their own or with anyone else to form a Government.

“There will be many people across England who will see that as a matter for regret.

“My job first and foremost is to stand up for Scotland. Only the SNP will stand between Scotland and an increasingly hardline and right wing Tory Government.”

In our opinion, she has just handed the election to the Tories on a plate, and Jeremy Corbyn must be delighted to have her support.

Voters south of the border recoiled in fear last time she said this, and the same thing may happen again.

With so many people against the break-up of the United Kingdom, why on earth would anyone vote Labour or Lib Dem and risk Nicola’s SNP getting even more of an influence in Westminster?

We keep saying that anti-politics DOESN’T WORK, as in tactical voting like this and also the people who devote their energy to making sure that a certain candidate doesn’t win.

All this will achieve is another Tory government, which many see as the only Brexit-friendly solution anyway.

A few seats for UKIP would be nice as well.

Gina Miller launches campaign to fund election candidates who want ANOTHER Brexit vote

The anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller has launched a crowdfunding campaign to try and raise funds that will support general election candidates who will fight for ANOTHER vote on the final Brexit deal for Britain.

Although Theresa May has said that this election will be about getting a united Westminster government to drive the Brexit process forward, Gina Miller’s ‘Do What’s Best For Britain’ crowdfunding page has already raised £7,000 to assist general election candidates who are committed to getting a final vote on the divorce deal with Brussels.

If she really wanted to ‘Do What’s Best For Britain,’ she would just let the election happen so that we end up with a government that simply wants to get the deal done.

Once again, for what must be the hundred millionth time, we should explain that the referendum result was enough proof that the British people want Brexit.

Anyone who uses the excuse that people didn’t know what they were voting for must be living in Cloud Cuckoo Land, or at the very least Libdemville.

However, Gina Miller has taken it upon herself to get involved. Her band of merry men and women already managed to delay the whole process with legal action to give Parliament a vote on triggering Article 50, and now we have this little situation.

The campaign reads:

Do what’s best for Britain!

Support the country’s biggest tactical voting drive ever and stop Extreme Brexit

The general election is on 8 June.

We are launching a tactical vote campaign, aiming to ensure the final vote on the Brexit deal is a real one; one that is best for Britain.

We need to prevent MPs and the people being forced into an Extreme Brexit that is not in Britain’s best interests.

We will support candidates who campaign for a real final vote on Brexit, including rejecting any deal that leaves Britain worse off.

Who are we?
We are a group of campaigners and public-minded people who are crowdfunding to get people to use their vote tactically.

How will we spend the money?
We will use the money to back candidates who pledge to support a full and free vote on the Brexit deal. We will also work with organisations with the same goals. The money raised will not pay staff salaries.

What will we do?
We will:
– Support parliamentary candidates who commit to keeping the options open for the British people.
– Fight to make the Brexit deal process transparent, honest and democratic.
– Tour marginal seats to make sure the next Government has no mandate to destroy our rights and our relationship with Europe.

The future of our country is in the people’s hands.

Time is short: we have just a few weeks to raise this money and fight for Britain’s best interests.

Together we can help deliver the most significant tactical vote this country has ever seen.

Help spread the word!

Naturally we won’t be posting the link here – we’re getting wound up enough just reading the campaign text.

Should we start a crowdfunding campaign to buy her a one-way ticket to a destination of her choice?

UKIP leader admits NIGEL FARAGE is likely to stand in general election

The UKIP leader Paul Nuttall has admitted that he is expecting ex-leader Nigel Farage to stand in the upcoming June general election.

According to Nuttall and other sources, it seems that he will once again take part in the contest for the South Thanet constituency where UKIP lost out to the Tories in 2015.

Although Farage was typically cagey about the prospect on his LBC Radio show on Tuesday, it does seem like he is coming back for another go – however the usual nay-sayers have already been pointing out his previous failures to win a House of Commons seat.

We’re not going to sit here and pretend that these defeats never happened, but what we are going to point out is that Nigel DOES have a track record of suffering years of defeats before coming out on top with a massive win.

For the best part of two decades, he was ridiculed and belittled for trying to lead a campaign to get the United Kingdom out of the European Union.

In the face of insult after insult after insult, he stuck two fingers up, spoke passionately about the issue at hand, chipped away at the electorate, and just look what happened in June 2016!

Coming back to the present day, we can already picture the scene in South Thanet and anywhere else that has a decent possibility of UKIP winning a seat.

The campaigners will be out in force. Not the campaigners for another non-UKIP candidate, but the foaming ‘DON’T VOTE FOR’ brigade who make it their lives’ work to go around and make sure that people are not elected – you know who you are.

Leaflets, rallies, speeches and much more designed to ensure that somebody doesn’t get elected as an MP, but of course all of this anti-politics leads to one huge problem.

Someone else gets in who screws things up even more.

The do-gooders seem to forget this simple fact. God forbid they should all get together and put up candidates of their own for a change!

We would love 2017 to be the year that the ‘anyone but Nigel’ campaigners finally wise up and slither back to wherever they came from, but if they succeed once again it’s no big deal – Nigel has nothing left to prove in our book.

Katie Hopkins attacks ‘GINGER DWARF’ Sturgeon over independence demands

The controversial columnist and radio presenter Katie Hopkins has branded Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon as a GINGER DWARF in her latest outburst against high-profile figures who are fighting against Brexit.

Writing in the Daily Mail she said: “The Scottish National Party say they will vote against the legislation that formally repeals Britain’s membership of the European Union.

“So if you are sick to the back teeth of the Ginger Dwarf from the North spouting her nonsense in Westminster, acting as first minister for Independence, instead of First Minister for Scotland, now is your chance. “

She called Theresa May’s chosen election date May 8 as Scotland’s ‘day to shine’ and added: “Send a message to Nicola that we are stronger together and better off without her.

“Her only ambition is for herself.

“Rid yourselves of the Ginger Dwarf from the North and we can create a truly United Kingdom, trading with each other and the rest of the world, in a known currency we all understand.”

On the subject of the general election and Theresa May, she added: “She has had her mind changed. The division in Westminster has convinced her to clear the decks early. To demand unity rather than to request it. To oblige people to work with her – or step aside for those who will.”

We’re sure that Sturgeon has probably been called worse things in her time, but it doesn’t do much to squash the conspiracy theories that she is actually one of the Krankies.

It shows why Hopkins is very much someone who you love or you hate. When the comes out with truthful nuggets like this, she is very much in the former category.

DONALD TRUMP backs Theresa May in general election

It has taken less than 24 hours for President of the United States of America Donald Trump to get in touch with UK Prime Minister Theresa May and offer his full backing in the upcoming general election.

It is also a clear sign that the president supports her plans to use the vote as an effective measure to deliver Brexit.

This all makes perfect sense as Trump has never hidden the fact that he is a supporter of Brexit.

He gleefully invited Nigel Farage to speak at one of his rallies on the campaign trail, introducing him as ‘the man who delivered Brexit,’ and the whole concept of withdrawing from the European Union goes hand-in-hand with his love of putting the interests of your own nation above everything else.

If Theresa May was looking for a powerful endorsement before getting down to the dirty business of an election, they don’t come much bigger and more powerful than this.

It will also be music to the ears of die-hard Brexiteers like us who want the election to be nothing more than a catalyst for plenty of naysayers to be removed from the House of Commons – the very people who want to do everything in their power to disrupt the process.

Wouldn’t it be great if the same sort of democratic process could be applied to the House of Lords as well?

The White House added that President Trump “wished the British people the best of luck in their electoral process” in his conversation with Mrs May.

When all is said and done, Trump isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future, and anything other than a May-Trump Transatlantic partnership really doesn’t bear thinking about.

Theresa May vows general election will stop House of Lords CRUSHING BREXIT

Theresa May has vowed that the general election on 8th June 2017 will stop meddling and unelected peers in the House of Lords crushing Brexit.

In a newspaper article she outlined her plan to “establish Britain as the strongest country in Europe” and remove the shackles of the “unelected House of Lords”.

She said: “It is the only way to provide the certainty and stability the country needs over the long-term – not just up to the moment that we leave the European Union, but for a full five years.

“And it is the best way to strengthen Britain’s hand in the negotiations ahead.

“Securing the right deal for Britain is my priority, but the divisions in Westminster, and the Government’s small majority, risk undermining our position as the negotiations go on.”

Mrs May continued: “In the weeks since the Government triggered Article 50, the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats and the SNP have all said they want to try and block the Government’s plan for Brexit.

“And unelected members of the House of Lords have vowed to fight the Government every step of the way.

“The inevitable political divisions this would cause in Westminster and elsewhere would risk our ability to make a success of Brexit.”

“It would cause uncertainty and instability just at the moment the country should be preparing to seize the opportunities that lie ahead.”

The Prime Minister, writing in the Telegraph, added: “The Government has set out a plan that will establish Britain as the strongest country in Europe in economic growth and national security, build a stronger economy, provide real opportunity for all and build a more secure and united nation.

“The strong and stable leadership in the national interest provided by the Conservatives, or a weak and unstable coalition of Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the SNP.”

Although everybody reacted with surprise when Mrs May took to the podium on Tuesday morning and told Britain that she would be asking parliament to approve a general election in June, it seems that the more you think about it, the more you realise that it is all part of a May masterplan to deliver the Brexit that so many people have been calling for.
