Boris Johnson hit out at Jeremy Corbyn and London Mayor, Sadiq Khan over their recent comments are current position on Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom.
The London mayor has reiterated his views that the US president should not be allowed to come to the UK.
The Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, reminded Khan and Corbyn that the US is the ‘Single biggest investor in the UK’.
The US is the biggest single investor in the UK – yet Khan & Corbyn seem determined to put this crucial relationship at risk. We will not allow US-UK relations to be endangered by some puffed up pompous popinjay in City Hall.

I personally agree, but I do understands politics isn't always so black and white. In this case though I'm totally with @SadiqKhan – Trump is the antithesis to everything that makes London great and he's right to say Londoners don't welcome him

He's inherited what was handed over by the Tories – they decimated public services which has allowed all this. And as for Pollution, that's been happening for the last 200 years, you can't blame the current mayor for that you complete twit

London Mayor Sadiq Khan repeats demand to STOP DONALD TRUMP VISITING LONDON
The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has once again repeated his demands for the President of the United States Donald Trump to be BLOCKED from visiting London.
Let’s just put this into perspective for one moment.
Donald Trump is in the top position within the planet’s most powerful nation – the phrase ‘leader of the free world’ isn’t used lightly.
Other countries have already had a visit from Trump, because the truth of the matter is that love him or hate him, he isn’t even half way through his term and the fact is that he is keen to build bridges where they need to be built.
He will act in America’s interests first, but at the same time he has made it perfectly clear that he wants to embrace other nations accordingly to reach mutually beneficial arrangements.
So, with that in mind, why the hell should any nation tell him to get stuffed?
When Mr Khan makes statements like this, he is playing a very dangerous game as there are millions of people within Britain who are ready to welcome Trump with open arms.
We could always use the argument that Trump was democratically elected, but then again the usual suspects hate the ‘D’ word, don’t they?
The decision to leave the European Union was achieved through a democratic process, and they still haven’t accepted this either!
According to the latest write-up in Breitbart:
London Mayor Sadiq Khan has stated that “London is a beacon of tolerance, acceptance and diversity”, and for that precise reason an official visit by U.S. President Donald Trump would “not be welcomed”.
Khan made the statement in written responses to questions from a member of the London Assembly, in which he was asked what he would do to make President Trump “feel welcome” when the anticipated visit comes in 2018.
Stating he had “previously called on Theresa May to cancel her ill-judged offer of a state visit to President Trump”, the mayor made clear he feels a visit by President Trump would be against the “interests and security of Londoners”.
Khan said :”It is clear that any official visit here would not be welcomed.”
Referring back to recent retweets by President Trump of three videos purporting to show acts of Muslim violence, Mr. Khan remarked: “Many Brits who love both America and Americans, as I do, will see recent comments made by President Trump as hardly in tune with the special relationship between our two countries.”
Democracy is a funny thing, in so far as there are still plenty of people out there who have adopted the system of ‘selective democracy.’
This is the political system where you are able to pick and choose the parts of democracy that you want to follow in order to support your own point of view.
Mr Khan was democratically elected, and Donald Trump was democratically elected. Suck it up and deal with it!
Theresa May wouldn’t dare block Trump’s visit as it would open up a can of worms so serious that the consequences for the United Kingdom would be devastating.
For all of our bluster and chest beating, we still need to remain a loyal friend of the United States of America – it is a simple fact of life that we need to be ‘inside the tent spitting out’ than vice versa!
