BREAKING: Jacob Rees-Mogg just became FAVOURITE to become UK’s next Prime Minister

The Conservative MP for North Somerset and ‘Champion of Brexit’ Jacob Rees-Mogg has just become a bookmaker’s favourite to be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

According to the @MoggMentum Facebook account, at the time of writing the odds for a JRM rise to power were identical to those of Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn.

However, it has to also be remembered that the Conservatives are just a short period into their latest government, which makes Jacob’s chances all the more likely!

Here’s a snapshot of the betting on Coral:

If you take a moment to let this sink in, the shift in JRM’s odds from being a 66/1 outsider just a few months ago is monumental!

Bookmakers are not in the business of giving money away, and often their opinions are more reliable than traditional polling companies.

They would have only set these odds because they feel that there is a considerable ‘risk’ of Jacob Rees-Mogg taking control from Theresa May, and we are inclined to agree.

Mrs May’s current management of the Brexit process is nothing short of a joke, and with every passing day there seems to be yet another concession to the Brussels bigwigs who are looking to keep us within the European Union with punitive transition arrangements and even the dreaded BRINO – Brexit In Name Only.

On the other hand, Jacob Rees-Mogg has developed a reputation for speaking up on behalf of every single Leave voter out there who demanded a full, HARD Brexit.

Additionally, Mogg is also putting his ‘good deal or walk away’ case across on behalf of the many Remain voters who have now come to accept that getting Brexit over and done with is the best possible course of action for the United Kingdom.

Chuck in his many memorable speeches (as in total destructions) about various elements of the European Union, such as his takedown of the Customs Union and why it is actually making people poorer, and you simply cannot be surprised that he is now a 5/1 favourite for the top job.

If we recall correctly, he actually described the Customs Union as a RACKET that protects rich producers above anybody else:

Naturally there is no room for complacency here, seeing that Jeremy Corbyn shares pole position at the bookies.

With no general election on the horizon, the only way that Jeremy Corbyn would take power would be in the event of a total government collapse or some sort of ‘no confidence’ situation, and this is why Theresa May needs to either step up or step down over the current Brexit fiasco.

In the next couple of months, if it becomes clear (or even clearer than it already is) that Brexit is simply going nowhere, we have to believe that figures within the Conservative Party will move to get Mrs May ‘removed’ from her post before the whole government just fails.

In this scenario, it has now become clear that Rees-Mogg would win a party leadership election, becoming Prime Minister at the same time.

We just have to hope that factors such as the DUP don’t throw a further spanner in the works …
