Reports are coming in that North Korea has launched a missile over Japan sparking immediate government action.
South Korea’s military said Kim’s regime fired the “unidentified projectile” from Pyongyang towards the sea at 5:57am local time.
The government’s J-Alert warning system advised people in the area to take precautions.
It’s been confirmed that Japan did not attempt to shoot down the missile.
The Japanese Prime Minister has said: “We will make utmost efforts to firmly protect the lives of the people.”
The missile is reported to have broken into three pieces before it landed, local media reported.
