Here’s proof that the EU referendum result in 2016 was FINAL AND BINDING

A speech from 2016 made by the then-Prime Minister David Cameron has been circulating online in recent days, and in the eyes of many people it will serve as conclusive evidence that the result of the June 2016 EU referendum was FINAL AND BINDING.

No talk of Parliament having a final say on the deal, no talk of a second referendum, no talk of people not knowing what they were really voting for, no talk of watering down the whole concept of Brexit into a ‘soft Brexit.’

Have a look at this announcement:

He made it perfectly clear that the decision rested with the British people and nobody else.

Although he never made a secret of the fact that he was passionate about keeping the United Kingdom in the European Union, this particular speech made it clear that the destiny of the country was very much in the hands of the British people.

When you combine this speech with the contents of that official government pamphlet that was circulated in the run-up to the big day (the document that made it clear that ‘Leave means Leave’ regarding all of the mechanisms within the European Union), how on Earth can anyone argue that there is room for wiggling out of the democratic decision taken by the people?

What legal scope could there now be for someone to take the government to court ‘all Miller style’ and use this speech as proof that there is a legal obligation to just get the whole process over and done with as soon as possible.

As far as we are concerned, the word of any serving Prime Minister surely trumps all others, even if he did jump ship as soon as the result became clear.

We now have Theresa May dealing with all the ‘hard sh*t,’ and she would do well to realise that the British people were sold a referendum on the terms that David Cameron mentioned in this clip!

PETITION: Block Nick Clegg from receiving a KNIGHTHOOD

We’re calling on YourBrexit readers to sign and share this petition in an attempt to pressure those in power to block Nick Clegg receiving a knighthood.

This man is a failed politician and should not be rewarded for being so.

The petition states:

“Nick Clegg is set to receive a knighthood in recognition for his five years as David Cameron’s Deputy Prime Minister between 2010 and 2015.

This man is a failed politician.

He broke major promises to students in 2010 over tuition fees just so he could get in bed with the Tories.

He called for Britain to join the Euro.

He voted to remain.

He wants a second referendum.

He labelled Nigel Farage’s warnings of an EU army as a ‘dangerous fantasy’ only for an EU army to start to form.

Giving a knighthood to this man is an insult to those who actually earned it.

We call for this to be blocked and that Theresa May does everything in her power to make sure Nick Clegg does not become Sir Nick Clegg.”

Ukip education spokesman David Kurten said: “UK establishment to knight Nick Clegg and Vince Cable, but ignores Nigel Farage. Says it all about the people currently in charge. Time to drain the swamp.”

Daniel H said: “Nick Clegg getting a knighthood over Nigel Farage, this country is really going to pot. At least Farage accomplished his aim and fought hard for it. Clegg has done nothing for this country!”

Regarding Brexit Mr Clegg wrote in his book “There is nothing remotely inevitable about Brexit – except that it will be deeply damaging if it happens.”

If you’re worried about running out of bog roll over Christmas, buy Nick Clegg’s ‘How To Stop Brexit’

I have some fantastic news for you if you are worried about running out of bog roll over the Christmas period – Nick Clegg’s new book ‘How To Stop Brexit (And Make Britain Great Again’ is available to buy right now!

At a hefty 160 pages long, careful wiping should mean that you’ll be cleansing your unmentionable area with Cleggy’s attempts to French kiss the European Union well into the New Year as well.

How fucking dare he say ‘Make Britain Great Again!’

Here’s a newsflash for you. Britain already made itself ‘Great Again’ in June 2016 when a majority of voters told Juncker and chums to take a fucking hike.

Why the hell should we pay the slightest bit of attention to a single thing that this sad excuse for a politician has to say?

For one thing, Clegg is so enamoured by the European Union that he would gladly do to it what the Conservatives decided to do to the Liberal Democrats from the moment that the coalition government started in 2010.

‘A good ol’ fashioned Rogering’ doesn’t even begin to describe it.

‘Yeah we’ll scrap tuition fees. We’ll scrap them good. Nothing will stop us in our quest to get rid of them. Nothing whatsoever.’

‘Hey Nicky. How would you like to form a government?’

‘OMFG Dave that would be amazeballs. Where do I sign? We can still do the tuition fees thing right? I wouldn’t want to piss off a sizeable chunk of the people who voted for us and cause my party to self-destruct into oblivion at the next election.’

‘Yeah whatever you want mate. Sign here.’

Allow me to save you all £6.99 and summarise this grand piece of literature for you – here’s what you can do to stop Brexit …

Fuck all.
