Jacob Rees-Mogg ‘rang circles’ around bias BBC presenter while labelling the BBC as the ‘Brexit Bashing Corporation’

Conservative backbencher, Jacob Rees-Mogg aired his views on the BBC while talking on 5 live this afternoon.

Jacob Rees-Mogg clashed with BBC presenter, Emma Barnett over the corporation’s bias and his loyalty to Theresa May.

Mr Rees-Mogg said: “Yes, on the Brexit-bashing BBC! It makes a change to have one (a Brexiteer) on occasionally against the hundreds of Remainers you have on. Perhaps ‘BB’ stands for ‘Brexit Bashing’ rather than ‘British Broadcasting’. Brexit Bashing Corporation.”

On Carney, he said: “I’m talking about Mark Carney as an individual. He has shamed his role because he’s become a partisan. He quite disgracefully intervened in the referendum campaign by giving forecasts one way or the other, which he never would have done in an election campaign.”

Twitter users wasted no time to blast the BBC presenter and praised Jacob:

It’s clear to see that the BBC is biased beyond belief. This presenter was more than critical but attacked the MP instead.

Mr Mogg labelled the BBC the ‘Brexit bashing corporation’ one final time before ending the interview to which the presenter replied: “BBC Live 5 listeners are sure to be reacting in their droves”.
