Julia Hartley-Brewer SLAMS far left for attacking ‘freedoms and democracy’ with just one tweet

Far-left thugs, extreme feminist and remoaners – last week summed up.

Last week was eventful, to say the least.

Conservative MP, Jacob Rees-Mogg was attacked while talking at Bristol Unversity by Antifa, F1 ‘Grid Girls’ lost their jobs in the name of ‘feminism’ and the House of Lords attempted to stop Brexit.

Lucky for you, Julia-Hartley-Brewer summed it up with one brilliant tweet.

She said: “This week we’ve had women telling other women what jobs they can do, MPs & unelected peers plotting to thwart the majority vote for Brexit, & balaclava-clad thugs shouting down an MP. Am I alone in fearing that our freedoms and our democracy are under attack?”

University of the West of England releases statement after Jacob Rees-Mogg attacked by protestors

The University of the West of England has released a statement after the Conservative politician Jacob Rees-Mogg was attacked by antifa protestors while trying to give a speech on Friday evening.

In the brief release, the university praises Mr Rees-Mogg for continuing to speak, and it also condemns the idiotic actions of those who were involved in the pathetic ‘room invasion.’

It said:

“We are absolutely appalled by the conduct of a small number of attendees at a Student’s Union Politics & International Relations Society talk this evening.

“It is our understanding at this stage that a small group of protesters broke into the lecture theatre where the event was due to take place via the back doors.

“The police were called and our security attended. We understand that these protesters were not UWE Bristol students and did not have tickets for the event.

“The police are now working to identify the individuals. Once the situation was calmed, Mr Rees-Mogg went ahead with his speech and was escorted back to his car after the event finished.

“Both security and the police stayed for the event to ensure everyone was safe.

“We support the democratic right of free speech and peaceful protest. However, we strongly condemn the actions of protesters who disrupted normal debate and behaved in this way.

“There is no place for such action on a university campus or in a civilised society.

“We are delighted that Mr Rees-Mogg was able to speak and debate with our legitimate student body in a respectful manner.

“We would like to thank him for his composure and actions to diffuse what must have been a challenging and unprovoked incident.

“We will work with the police to identify the individuals involved and take appropriate action.”

As the police are now investigating, it will be interesting to see if they feel that any criminal offences were committed.

Unfortunately, there are still people out there who genuinely feel that Jacob Rees-Mogg is committing a criminal offence against the whole of humanity every time he opens his mouth, and all all these idiots are doing is strengthening the Moggmentum movement with every single pathetic outburst!
