With the ‘resignation’ of First Secretary of State Damian Green on Wednesday, it is highly likely that Theresa May’s Cabinet will undergo a reshuffle in the New Year to try and bring some stability back to our nation’s push towards Brexit – this means that there is now a vacancy for Jacob Rees-Mogg to step into the well-deserved limelight.
As we have pointed out on thousands of occasions in the past, there is no Conservative MP who is more passionate about getting the United Kingdom the best possible deal (or perhaps no deal at all) when it comes to Brexit.
He is a man of integrity who simply believes in one thing – British interests first and foremost.
As far as he is concerned, if the deal that is put on the Brussels table isn’t good enough, it is our government’s duty to say ‘see you later’ and go it alone without giving them a penny more.
Some of his speeches about removing ourselves from the Customs Union and the Single Market have been nothing short of legendary.
While many in authority have been issuing warning after warning about how taking the UK out of these European mechanisms will have dire consequences, he has visited podiums across the land and pointed out just why we are better off out.
No talk of transitional periods, no talk of softening Brexit to the extent where it becomes a laughable insult to the 17.4 million people who voted Leave, just a deal or no deal that works for US.
He is a strong believer in the fact that the referendum gave our government a mandate to get the job done and dusted without endless obstructions, and if ‘Theresa The Appeaser’ doesn’t survive the festive period then what’s to say that the next big shake-up won’t see JRM in the hottest seat of them all?
There’s no point in calling him ‘old-fashioned’ in an attempt to insult him – he is more than aware of this!
The constant jokes about him being ‘Victorian’ and ‘Dickensian’ just fuel him and push him to carry on his Brexit quest.
When you look at how his personality is gaining support from people of all ages, it’s clear that he has universal appeal, and this is all down to his attitude that Brexit needs to benefit Britain above all else.
Frankly, the constant smear campaign from the left-wing is an embarrassment. His star is rising at a rate that they could only dream of, and all they can do is make silly jokes about his dress sense and softly-spoken nature.
Remember how he used his ‘softly spoken’ nature to absolutely destroy a protestor at the Conservative party conference fringe event a few months ago?
He almost killed him with kindness and made every attempt to engage the individual in a constructive debate – naturally all the protestor wanted to do was scream him down like some sort of Corbynite Caveman and it failed spectacularly.
Remember – if Theresa May’s leadership does come to a tempestuous end in the near future, there is a real risk that a full-blown general election could result in Jeremy Corbyn shuffling his way into Number 10.
In our honest opinion, only a Rees-Mogg takeover could stop that, and that is why we are encouraging you to sign our simple petition to show that in spite of the nasty name calling and silly threats, Jacob Rees-Mogg is a man of the people who must be allowed to get us out of this mess.
As a cabinet member or the ‘big cheese,’ millions of angry Leave voters will once again be assured that their wishes are being acted upon.
