UK just OFFICIALLY rejected the Brexit bill and the EU is not happy

The UK has rejected the ‘Brexit Bill’ which Brussels believes the UK is liable to pay in order to leave the European Union, despite there being no legal obligation to pay any ‘divorce’ fee

According to an EU source, senior negotiators did not react to well to the Brexit bill rejection.

“There was total amazement,”

“Everyone was completely flabbergasted that this young man from Whitehall was saying that the EU’s preparation on the financial settlement was ‘inadequate’. It did not go down well.”

I couldn’t care less if EU officials were ‘flabbergasted’, it serves them right for trying to bleed us dry!

They’ve forgotten that the UK has been paying into this club for years as a net contributor.

Westmonster reported:

“Brexit negotiations are not going well. Britain’s proposals have repeatedly been snubbed or batted down by the likes of Jean-Claude Juncker and chief negotiator Michel Barnier. They would do well to remember that European business and governments want the EU to strike a deal with the UK.

Meanwhile back in Britain, there is no public appetite whatsoever for a bumper Brexit bill. If those in Brussels don’t get real, no deal, and no bill, remains a distinct possibility.”
