WATCH: HILARIOUS moment Diane Abbott gets lost on stage in front of thousands of spectators

Diane Abbott somehow managed to get lost on stage in front of thousands of spectators after she gave a speech at the Police Federation Conference

Mrs Abbott has once again gained publicity for her awful gaffes that have been getting better and better leading up to the general election.

The shadow home secretary was laughed at by the crowd for walking off the stage the wrong way after her speech and consequently getting lost in the process.

She told the audience: ‘I have been looking at the evidence in relation to spit guards and I continue to look at the evidence.’

She added: I’ve never said I’m against them in principle, but like any fresh equipment and power I would want to see the evidence as to what they would do.’

Broadcaster Ian Collins, who chaired the debate, mocked her, saying ‘Can I just help you out?
‘I’m not an expert on this but I think the theory is if someone spits in your face you use the spit guard to try to stop them doing it.’

Another noticeable gaffe was when Mrs Abbott took centre stage as she addressed the spectating Labour supporters, but was met with silence.

As you can see in the video below, Mrs Abbott, the shadow home secretary was not met with enthusiasm by her Labour supporters yesterday.

I’m guessing this is due to her multiple car crash interviews throughout the past few weeks.

Mrs Abbott tried to receive the atmosphere on stage by repeating herself to the audience saying “good afternoon” in a much louder tone, only to get a few people replying back.

Oh Diane…
